Aloha!
As a proud resident of Oahu, often referred to as "The Gathering Place," I feel fortunate to have grown up in such a vibrant tropical paradise. The warm weather and sandy beaches were a significant part of my childhood. If you ever have the opportunity to visit Oahu, I highly recommend trying the shaved ice from Matsumoto's and enjoying Dole Whip directly from the Dole Plantation.
My unique perspective, shaped by my experiences as a person who is autistic and hard of hearing, has influenced my upbringing in ways that differ from my peers. After being diagnosed with hearing loss, I was introduced to the rich culture of the deaf community, where I learned American Sign Language (ASL) and have relied on lip-reading and interpreters for face-to-face communication.
Living with autism presents its own set of challenges. I have often struggled with understanding social norms, and my learning pace has been slower compared to my peers. However, my autism has also fostered a profound interest in the art of animation.
I am eager to deepen my understanding of animation, as it has long been my dream to create and bring my own stories to life. The enchanting movement of characters in cartoons and anime has always captivated me, inspiring a strong commitment to pursuing a career in this field.
In addition to animation, I have a keen interest in psychology, which I believe will enhance my ability to develop compelling characters and engaging narratives. After all, compelling stories are built on well-crafted characters and intriguing plots. I value empathy, integrity, quality, and equality, and I am dedicated to reflecting these principles in my work.
I look forward to the opportunity to share my stories and showcase my creative abilities with the world.
